STEREOVERVE is a four-piece Alternative Rock band from Austria,
formed in the summer of 2003 by founding members Robert Klembas
and Thomas Winkler who both moved to Vienna for their studies.

Like in many other bands, university was the common factor that brought together STEREOVERVE: the bands members all feature a scientific background, ranging from molecular biology to astrophysics and computer science.

Living in the same student home, they soon discovered their shared love for such diverse bands like dEUS, Bloc Party, Coldplay, The Smashing Pumpkins, U2 or A Perfect Circle. The student scene also supported the initial spark with rehearsal rooms as well as gigs in the bars and pubs of the vibrant Viennese music scene.

Focused and determined work earned the band success, first within the Austrian music scene, and was soon followed by an excellent reputation as a dynamic live act. After winning several prestigious prizes like the Austrian Newcomer Award for their EP Stereoverve in 2004, the group released its full length debut Valério in 2005.


The album stressed the band's love for sophisticated song writing, atmospheric sound effects and great hooks even more, taking STEREOVERVE's skills and expression to the next level.
 Changes in the bands line-up of after finishing Valerio further shaped STEREOVERVE's musical development by adding a very tight, yet playful rhythmical backbone to the band's continuing love for spacey delay and reverb effects on the guitars. Thus, their latest album Science Of Signs - having been shaped and recorded in Berlin in 2009 - developed a more solid and edgy side.
